Something has seeped into the system. At irregular intervals, the fixture’s light tries to regain its function, only to falter again. Elements of the structure reach beyond its rigid grid, trying to perceive something outside the system they inhabit and transcend the boundaries of their intended purpose. Yet this longing is incompatible with the structure.
