True randomness is a phenomenon which only can be produced by the physical and analog world. This circumstance becomes apparent in the decay of radioactive materials. These materials have indeed a so-called half-life period, but this halving of radiation is considered to be a statistical average value. The specific moment of transformation of an atomic nucleus cannot be calculated so far, solely the probability of transformation per time unit.

The „Random Generator“ creates random numbers via measurement of the atomic decay of a natural, lightly radioactive mineral (Allanit). This apparatus serves as an output medium for designing random patterns and movements based on the generated random numbers.
